Aladdin Jr.

Congratulations to Andy as Jafar in Aladdin!!! So many talented kids. wow. But Andy was fantastic. We wondered if they had to stay in character afterward in the lobby, cause when we spoke to Andy, he nodded and moved right past us like he did not know us. (Or maybe just being a wierd teener!) Anyway we sure liked his performance and think he has exceptional talent. Jackson and Will sure enjoyed the show as well. But going to something like that gets me all in a huff all over again about sports vs. the arts and who gets paid to go to school and who doesn't. Our system is messed up. Someone like Andy (or Em) should be paid for their talent. That's all I'm gonna say about that for now anyway! Aren't you glad?

I would hope Andy stayed in character, because he did that to me too :) I am so glad you guys came!

We won't get into the sports vs arts thing ugh.

I am glad the boys enjoyed the show. Nice to see them and how they have grown!

Jackson is still talking about it. He has already "marked his calendar" for High School Musical. I might have to go too! I also thought it was really big of you to say that L.D. did a really nice job with the choreography. Pre-christian Connie would not have said that!

Theater rocks! Mads is all about it. We have a "camp" in the summer where the kids learn a play and perform it on Friday. This is her 3rd year. She LOVES it. She has been in the last 2 high school productions. (the kids are just extras, but it's very exciting) They definately deserve to have a budget like athletics, but you know.....when pigs fly.
